Day 1 Arrival in Colombo Airport. Transfer to Negombo Beach

Welcome to Sri Lanka. On arrival at the airport our representative heartily greets you and transfers you from airport to Negombo. On Arrival check in to resort. Full day for leisure and enjoy in the beach resort / hotel. Overnight in Negombo Beach

Day 2 Negombo Beach to Anuradhapura

After breakfast proceed to Anuradhapura. it is the first capital of Sri Lanka. Anuradhapura has been the capital of Sri Lanka from the 4th century BC, until the beginning of the 11th century AD. It was the Royal Kingdom for 119 kings before it was abandon the capital moved to Polonnaruwa.
After some sightseeing in Anuradhapura, we will check into the hotel – Anuradhapura.

Dambulla Cave Temple

 

Day 3 Anuradhapura to Dambulla

After breakfast we pack our bags and head towards Dambulla. Dambulla is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.Dambulla Rock temple is the main attraction of Dambulla. That is the first place that we are going to see. Dambulla Rock Temple was built by King Valagamba in 1st Century BC, as a gratitude to the Monks in Dambulla for providing refuge to its 14 years exile from Anuradhapura. This magnificent Dambulla Cave Temple has 48 Buddha Statues.

Day 4  Dambulla to Wasgamuwa National Park

After breakfast, proceed to WASGAMUWA NATIONAL PARK , located in the districts of Matale and Polonnaruwa and bordered by the Mahaweli and Amban rivers, stretches an impressive 36,948 hectares. It was declared a National Park in 1984, making it the only one in the Central Province.
Home to a huge variety of flora and fauna (23 species of mammal – including elephants and bears, 143 birds, 8 amphibians, 17 fresh water fishes, 17 reptiles, 50 butterflies and 150 plants), this park is truly a paradise for the nature lover. With many small scale ancient tanks and several other ruins and ancient religious sites the park also has significant historical importance. For keen hikers, it is also home to the Sudu Kanda mountain range (about 470m above sea level). Overnight stay in Wasgamuwa National Park

Day 5  Kandy – Haslaka – Wasgamuwa National Park – Haslaka – Kandy

After breakfast leave for Kandi via Hasalaka in Mahiyangana -Kandy route.
Today it is an important tourism attraction in Sri Lanka with a foot fall of not just tourists, but researchers and scientists from across the globe are seen here. After a wonderful time with the elephants we move to Kandy the cultural capital of Sri Lanka.
Overnight stay will be at the hotel in Kandy.

Day 6 Kandy – Peradeniya – Kandy

Enjoy the morning breakfast at leisure. Later we drive on wheel to Peradeniya from Kandy.
Peradeniya is an exotic garden built by the Sinhala King. Today it is the national wealth and the garden has great collection of exotic plants, blossoming flowers and herbarium are grown.
Later drive to Kandy the last capital of the Sri Lankan Kings and today it is listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Kandy holds the cultural beauty and the traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive.
Visit to the picturesque Kandy Lake built by the last Sinhala King, Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1798.
Also visit to Kandy Town and bazaar and enjoy shopping, a gem museum and the art and crafts centre.

Day 7  Kandy – Plantation – Nuwara Eliya

Enjoy heartfelt breakfast at the hotel in Kandy and later visit to the tea plantation and the tea factory to see the processes of manufacturing tea and how the best tea leaves are produced. See all the process how tea is graded, produced and packed.

Also enjoy stimulating hot tea made from the world best Ceylon tea in the factory.
Later we transfer to Nuwara Eliya the picturesque hill resort in Sri Lanka.

Day 8 Nuwara Eliya

To day free for the sightseeing of Nuwara Eliya Sightseeing including a visit to the Sita Amman temple Nuwara Eliya – The „Little England‟ of Sri Lanka, is set against beautiful backdrops of Mountains, Valleys, Waterfalls and Tea Plantations. It is supposed to be one of the coldest places on the island, where the air is pure, cool and distilled up through 1,884 meters; windswept peaks lie shrouded in mist, while gaily clad tea pluckers wind their way among tea bushes listening to the wild music of the water falls. The is city complete with a Lake, Golf course and Race course ideal for hikes, golf, horse riding and boating.
After a memorable day tour enjoy a cozy overnight stat at the hotel in Nuwara Eliya.

Leopard Fight – Yala National Park

Day 9 Nuwara Eliya – Tissamaharama – Yala – Kataragama

Have a heartfelt breakfast at the hotel and later we drive you from Nuwara Eliya to Yala via Tissamaharama.
Yala is one of the finest national park in Sri Lanka and a premier eco-tourism destination. Make a safari in this largest national park of Srilanka and see the wild beast in their natural home. Yala is home to varied species of wild animals
like leopard, deers, crocodiles, bears, wild buffaloes, wild boars, wild elephants, porcupines and spotted deers.
Also see varied species of birds that include migratory and indigenous birds and commonly found birds in this national park.
Later we transfer from Yala to Katatra Gama and later enjoy overnight stay at the Katatra Gama.

Day 10 Kataragama – Galle – Bentota or Hikkaduwa

Enjoy heartfelt breakfast at the hotel and leave for Bentota. En route visit in Galle – Sri Lankas most historically interesting town is Galle. It was a major port until about 100 years, but today still handles shipping and sailing boats in the natural harbor. Stroll around the lighthouse and harbor or visit the old town where you can see the traditional lace makers and wood carvers and purchase some the finest souvenirs. On completion of visit leave for Bentota for the beach stay.
Rest of the day enjoy at leisure and at your free will.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Bentota.

Hikkaduwa Beach

Day 11 Bentota or Hikkaduwa

Day for Relax and Enjoy in the Bentota Beach. Over night stay in Bentota

Day 12 Balapitiya – Kosgoda back to the beach hotel

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning proceed to Balapitiya. Take a Boat ride to Madu River.
Madu Ganga (Madu River) bordering to the costal village Balaptiya, Madu Ganga flows by adding an incomparable beauty to the surrounding.
Its unique in its beauty, hundreds of islets, mangroves, indigenous aquatic birds & fish creates a green heave in front of your eyes.
These enchanting landscapes make people breathless by creating a paradise for their own dreams. This green heritage is a kind of lab for the researches, local & foreign university students & journalists who are discovering the secrets of this treasure.
If you visit this wonderland you can try delicious traditional meals with Kirala juice.
Also visit a Turtle Sanctuary in Kosgoda. Back to Bentota. Rest of the day at leisure in the hotel. Overnight stay at Resort – Bentota.

Day 13 Colombo

After a heartfelt breakfast the hotel in Bentota/Hikkaduwa , we transfer you to Colombo, the capital city of Sri Lanka.
Do short tour / shopping at Colombo City. Stay Overnight at Hotel – Colombo.

Day 14 Colombo

Enjoy the city tour of Colombo and visit to some of the oldest building in the city and the modern skyscrapers changing
the look of Colombo. Also visit to the 100 years old clock tower, colonial building, Hindu and Buddhist temple and
Bandaranakike Memorial International Conference Hall. Later enjoy shopping in the Pettah Bazaar and take home some
specialties of Sri Lanka and Colombo. After a glorious day tour, enjoy cozy overnight stay at the hotel in Colombo.

Day 15 Departure Transfer

Enjoy the morning breakfast at leisure. Relax for some time and later we transfer your from Colombo to Airport to board flight for way back home or onwards journey. In this way your memorable tour to Sri Lanka comes to an end.
